In this 100 m² apartment, the project is shaped by one essential requirement: creating generous storage while preserving the fluidity of the spaces and the presence of natural light.
Bespoke joinery therefore becomes the guiding thread of the interior architecture, defining the walls, supporting everyday use and giving each room its own coherence.
The living room, kitchen and dining area share a single open volume, generously connected to the large glazed openings. Filtered through sheer curtains, the light reveals a palette of sand, ecru and greige tones, warmed by timber flooring and rich brown woods.
The kitchen is composed of understated cabinetry, punctuated by a mirrored splashback that extends the perspectives. A timber dining table connects directly to the island, creating a natural transition towards the living area. Opposite the softly curved sofa, a long low unit provides storage, while a full-height element combining closed cabinetry and open niches introduces a vertical rhythm to the composition.
In the private area, the principal bedroom extends into an adjoining dressing room and study, as well as an en-suite bathroom. Full-height joinery brings together wardrobes, shelving and a dressing table within a continuous composition. The grain of the timber and slender brass handles complement the light textiles and the flowing pattern of the wallcovering.
The study continues the same design language, with a softly rounded desktop and integrated storage. In the bathroom, the curves of the freestanding bathtub stand out against large-format ceramic surfaces with deep green veining, paired with the warm brown tones of the suspended vanity unit.
The guest bedroom develops a softer, more colourful atmosphere, animated by a panoramic wallcovering depicting the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Light-toned wardrobes recede into the composition, allowing the landscape motif to take centre stage, while pink marble handles add a refined finishing touch.
From one room to the next, the project finds its balance between the precision of the bespoke joinery and the softness of curved forms, creating a harmonious interior designed for everyday comfort.
